While monsoon brings along with itself an amazing climate and most importantly much needed relief from the scorching heat and humidity of summer, it also brings along various diseases, viruses and infections.

This is so because roads during the monsoon season are generally filled with potholes of mud and water. These potholes comprise of harmful microorganisms that can impact negatively on your health. The food items that are exposed in the open air during the monsoon season need to be avoided.

Make sure you do not store any stagnant water

One of the worst issues that we face during the monsoon season is breeding of mosquitoes. Diseases such as dengue or malaria are also on the rise during the monsoon season for this very reason. However with a few precautions you can easily find your way to eliminate this concern. The first thing that you need to do is to make sure that there is no open water storage in your house and to make sure that the water is always covered inside the pots. This is so because open water can cause breeding of excessive mosquitoes. Also make sure that the drains in your house are not locked and that rainwater does not get held in your nearby areas.

Always add a disinfectant been bathing in the water

If you are someone who loves taking a stroll in the rain this health tip is probably perfect for you. While it may be very refreshing for you to enjoy a nice walk or run in the rainy season you also have to remember that viruses and bacteria are on the rise during this season. So every time you get wet in the rain make sure that you had a good disinfectant in your bathing water so that it can help you stay fit and healthy. Also make sure that you wash your hands and feet properly every time you get back home.
