Improving your vision with Ayurveda

In today’s time poor vision is considered to be one of the most common problems faced by many in India and across the world. Nearsightedness and far sightedness are some of the common problems that most of us face. Today you might see an increasing number of people wearing glasses or contact lenses in order to deal with problems such as poor vision. While it is important to wear contact lenses or glasses nobody likes wearing them. In fact most people avoid wearing them. Start practicing eye exercises

There are certain exercises that can indeed help in improving your vision and make your eyes more flexible. These exercises defined in Ayurveda can help in improving the blood circulation and also help you maintain a good vision. These exercises can also be helpful in decreasing the strain you receive on your eyes and improve your power of concentration. Some of these exercises include rolling your eyes clockwise and anticlockwise. Blinking them in between in order to give your eyes some rest. Another exercises blinking your eyes 20 to 30 times quickly. Practicing this exercise twice a day can help in improving your vision.

Consume Gingko Biloba 

This is an ancient Ayurveda remedy that can help in improving your vision. Not only does it improve your vision it also helps in protecting your eyes from diseases such as glaucoma and also macular degeneration. This herb however should not be consumed unless recommended by your doctor or your surgeon. It also should not be consumed by kids or by those suffering from diabetes.

Eat almonds

You must know that elements such as omega fatty acids and vitamin E help in naturally improving your vision. These elements are present in almonds which can also help in improving your memory and concentration levels. You can either eat soaked almonds or consume it by mixing it in your milk. Consuming almonds regularly for a few months will surely help you improve your vision.

Consume Amla

Amla or Indian gooseberry is considered as one of the most powerful remedies in Ayurveda that can help in improving your vision. Indian Gooseberry is a great source of vitamin C and comprises of various antioxidants and other important properties that can improve your vision. You can mix these both and have it with a cup of water. Practice this activity daily twice and what is the difference in your vision.
